How to Configure the Article Setup

    Setting up directions

    This topic shows how you can manage Jentla's User registration and Article setup configuration.

    After Logging into JMH Manager Administrator (http://<your domain>.jentla.com/manager/administrator), choose Components > Jentla > Configuration. The following page will be displayed:

    Article Setup

    Fill in the requested information.

    • Default Article Expiry Period - By Default the option is " Never " which means the article has no expiry period. You can choose the Number of days option button to set custom Article Expiry period.
    • After the article reaches the end date it will automatically be "Retracted". 
    • Default time for Date Fields -  you can choose Current time for Date fields or set as 00:00 
    • Default Article Publish Type - can choose default article publish type as Article, Blog, Base,Form and Editable. Here we've selected the <<Article>> as default one

    • Days before old articles archived - provide the number of days after which your old articles can be archived 

    • Columns to Display in Article Listing  - choose the list the columns to display in article listing page. In this case choose the <<ID, Internal Title, Category, Article Type, Created Date, Status, Published Start Date, Publish End Date, Featured,Author>>

    • Fields to Display in Article Filtering - choose the fields to display while filtering the articles in article listing page. In this case choose the <<Internal Title, Display Title, Status, Type, Category, Sites, Publish Start Date, Publish End Date, ID>>

    • Restricted user groups - choose the Restricted User groups for all sites 

    • Global User - If you choose "Yes" the user is created in Manager otherwise it will be created only in sites  

    • Default Image Type for  Category - You can select the default Image type for a Category. In this case, choose the Image types <<Thumb, Medium, Mobile medium, Large, Xlarge>> for category

    • Edit date format - You can change the Edit Date format with only Date, Time and with Date & Time. In this case, choose the edit date format as <<Thursday, 15 November 2012>>

    • Display date format -  You can change the Display Date format with only Date, Time and with Date & Time. In this case, choose the display date format as <<15 November 2012 21:06:13>>
