How to Setup the Article's Parameters

    Specific features

    This section allows you to set  parameters values for your online article. Here is an example of how your tab should look like:

    Required information in this section:

    • Show Unauthorized Links - If set to Yes it will show links to Registered content even if the user is not logged in. The user will need to Login to see the full article

    • Show Article Title - If set to “Show” it will show the article title in the site front-end for every article otherwise it will hide the article title

    • Show Linked Titles - If set to “Show” it will show the linked title in the site front-end for every jentla article otherwise it will hide the article title
      as a linkable

    • Show Intro Text - If set to “Show” it will show the intro text for the article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the intro text for the article title

    • Section Name - If set to “Show” it will show the section name for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the section name for the article

    • Section Name Linkable - If set to “Show” it will show the section name as linkable for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the section name as a linkable

    • Category Name - If you set as "yes" it shows the category name for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise not

    • Category Name Linkable - Set whether the category name is Linkable for the jentla article in the site front-end or not

    • Author Names - If set to “Show” it will show the author name for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the author name for the article

    • Created Date and Time - If you set as "yes" it displays the created Date and Time for the jentla article in the site front-end

    • Modified Date and Time - If set to “Show” it will show the modified date and time for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the modified date and time for the article

    • Date Type - If the article shows in the site front-end depends on the Article modified date, Article date, Article Created date and Publish start date. So Select the date type from the drop-down list.

    • Show Navigation - If set to “Show” it will show the navigation for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the navigation for the article

    • Read More Link - If set to “Show” it will show the read more link for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the read more link for the article

    • Item Rating/voting - If set to “Show” it will show the item rating /voting for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the item rating/voting for the article

    • Share Icon - If set to "Yes" it will show the share icons for the jentla article in site frontend, otherwise it will hide the share icons (Facebook, Twitter, Google+). Doesn't show the icons, by default, if you choose "Use Global" option.

    • Icons - If set to “Show” it will show the icons for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the icons

    • Pdf Icon - If set to “Show” it will show the PDF icon for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the PDF icon

    • Print Icon - If set to “Show” it will show the print icon for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the print icon

    • E-mail icon - If set to “Show” it will show the e-mail icon for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the e-mail icon

    • Hits - If set to “Show” it will show the hits for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the hits

    • Show Comments - If set to “Show” it will show the comments for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the comments

    • Show Flash Links - If set to “Show” it will show the flash links for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the flash links

    • Show Video - If set to “Show” it will show the video for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the video kink in the article

    • Guest Comments - If set to “Show” it will show the guest comments for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the guest comments

    • Display Link at Site Map - If set to “Show” it will show the site map as linkable for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the site map link

    • Router - Set the Router. This is mainly used for “iprime”

    • Date Format - You have to type the Date Format in the Text Box (yyyy-mm-dd or yyyy/mm/dd)

    • Set Robots Meta Data - Click "yes" to set the Meta Data when SEF is ON

    • Exclude Categories - Select Categories for Exclude. The exclude categories will be hidden for the site back-end

    • Display Article Breadcrumbs - If set to “Yes” it will display the breadcrumbs for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the breadcrumbs for the jentla article. Please notice that article breadcrumbs are only shown if your Breadcrumbs Module is active on site ( if it's published, working on the right template and put in a position that enables viewing it on site). For more information on this topic, please contact your Site Administrator.

    • Convert Secure Document Name - If set to “Show” it will secure the document name for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide the secure name

    • Use Article Access level - Select the article access level for User from the drop-down list

    • Strip HTML Tags -  Whether to allow the HTML tags or not

    • Loading indicator If set to “Yes” the loading indicator will show for the jentla article in the site front-end otherwise it will hide

    • Article not found alert type - If set as "Warning" the template message will be displayed as "Article Not Found". If set as "Error" the error message will be displayed as "Sorry! The page cannot be found" for the jentla article in the site front-end
